The hotel is conveniently located near the busy Black Cat Roundabout on the A1, offering easy access to nearby services. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-furnished, although there were some issues with the service provided. The dining options were limited, but the facilities were satisfactory overall.

7.2/10

The hotel is conveniently located next to the A1 with surprisingly little noise, although it can be easily missed off the Black Cat Roundabout. The staff are friendly and helpful, although some improvements in service are needed. The rooms are spacious and come with a great mattress, but the dining options are not appealing. A good place to consider for a stay with plenty of free parking, yet Wi-Fi may not be included in the price.

The replacement room provided was spacious with a great mattress, ensuring a comfortable stay. Staff, especially Donna and Stacey, were very attentive and made sure I was well taken care of.

7.4/10

The hotel was conveniently located near the A1 and the Black Cat Roundabout, with lovely staff offering helpful recommendations for dining and activities in the area. The rooms, although facing the A1, were spotlessly clean, but a small issue arose with obtaining adequate bedding for the cot. The service, especially from the young man at reception, exceeded expectations despite difficulties with cot arrangements.

Rooms
8.0
The family room was clean and comfortable, although the limited number of cups provided for four people and a cot was a slight inconvenience.
Service
9.0
The staff, particularly the young man at reception, were friendly and went above and beyond to assist with specific dietary needs for our child.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location, despite being near the A1 and the Black Cat Roundabout, offered surprisingly quiet surroundings with helpful staff recommendations for exploring the area.
Dining

While dining options were available from Travelodge, the vermicelli dish was not appealing to us, and we opted for alternatives outside the hotel.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel provided standard facilities expected from a Travelodge, meeting basic needs for a comfortable stay.

Although not the best dining experience, the Sicilian pastry was a delightful surprise.

6.4/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the staff were amazing, especially Donna and Stacey, and I appreciated the free parking and clean surroundings, some aspects fell short. The room became very hot, missing essentials like a shower curtain, and having to rely on takeaway due to the neighboring restaurant being closed was disappointing. I might not choose to stay here again.

Rooms
7.0
Even though the room was aired out and had a fan running on a hot day, it lacked a shower curtain which was inconvenient. Ordering takeaway because the nearby restaurant was closed was disappointing for someone who wanted a proper meal after traveling from France.
Service
8.0
The staff was incredibly polite and informative, ensuring we felt welcome and looked after. However, being refused bedding due to a cot issue was a bit frustrating.
Location
6.0
The location was convenient, with lovely staff offering recommendations for places to explore and dine in the area. However, the hotel's proximity to the busy Black Cat Roundabout made it a bit noisy.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, and having to rely on Travelodge or a nearby Gregg's for meals wasn't ideal.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel facilities were decent overall, although missing an onsite dining option and the nearby closure of a popular restaurant were setbacks.
